Five distinct divisions. One airline. From mainline jets to private charters, every corner of the NEA operation has a home.
The Mainline division represents the core scheduled passenger operations of New England Virtual. Operating both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft, flights under the "New England" callsign connect major hubs with key domestic and international destinations. This division is the backbone of the airline, emphasizing structured schedules, realistic route planning, and large-scale operations that mirror real-world commercial airline flying.
Airlink serves as New England Virtual's regional network, operating shorter-haul flights that connect smaller airports with our mainline hubs. Flying under the "Baystate" callsign, this division focuses on high-frequency regional operations and community connectivity throughout New England and beyond. Airlink plays a critical feeder role while offering pilots fast-paced, hands-on flying in a regional airline environment.
The Cargo division handles all freight operations for New England Virtual, operating under the "Lobster" callsign. Focused exclusively on cargo missions, this division transports time-sensitive freight, mail, and logistics cargo across domestic and international routes. New England Cargo operations emphasize precision, efficiency, and schedule discipline, offering a different but equally immersive side of airline operations.
Stratus Aviation is New England Virtual's dedicated training and evaluation division, operating under the "Stratus" callsign. This division supports pilot onboarding, recurrent training, check rides, and fleet familiarization. Stratus ensures every pilot meets operational standards and is prepared to fly safely and confidently across all NEA divisions.
